Victoria will move to circuit breaker restrictions from 11.59pm Thursday 27 May. As a result, there will be only 5 reasons to leave home: to get food and supplies, undertake authorised work, provide care and caregiving, exercise and to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
These settings will remain in place until at least 11:59pm on 3 June. The restrictions have been introduced following a COVID-19 outbreak in Melbourne. Thousands of people across Victoria have been identified as close contacts to the positive cases.
