Gippsland PHN is pleased to offer mental health clinicians working across Gippsland an opportunity to upskill through its Mental Health Workforce Scholarship Program.
This program will provide clinicians with the clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to increase their scope of practice and provide comprehensive and evidence-based patient care for identified priority populations. Scholarships of up to $10,000 per clinician per organisation are available to access an accredited course of study that is aligned to Gippsland PHN health priorities.
Additional financial support to the organisation through the Scholarship (up to $500 per clinician per organisation within the total capped amount of $10,000) is available to assist in meeting the additional expenses often borne by rural and regional health professionals in accessing education.
Funding is limited, and applications will be assessed by a panel on merit against the criteria outlined in the guidelines.
Scholarship applications close 1 April 2019
Gippsland PHN will seek applications coinciding with Semester two with enrolment commencement in July 2019.
