The 2019 Youth Survey, conducted by Mission Australia, aims to identify the values, aspirations and issues of concern to young people aged 15 – 19 from across Australia.
Gippsland PHN is encouraging youths across Gippsland to have their say, with this year’s survey focusing on the barriers to achieving to achieving post-school aspirations, bullying, disability, housing and young people’s voice.
The survey is now in its 18th year and is the largest annual survey of young people of its kind. Closing date for submission is on the 31st of July 2019, with results to be analysed and released before the end of the year.
Individual Youth Survey reports are available for schools and organisations where a minimum of 100 respondents complete the survey. If you would like to request an individual report, please contact Mission Australia before commencing the survey to receive a unique code.
The survey results can become an important resource that gives schools, communities and governments valuable information about the needs and concerns of a young people.
