You are invited to attend free training on elder abuse, to be delivered by the Bouverie Centre at various LCHS sites throughout Gippsland – see flyer attached. This training is an key element in the new Integrated Model of Care for responding to suspected elder abuse. LCHS has scheduled a number of sessions for both levels up to July 2018. Staff from LCHS and other partner services across the Gippsland region are encouraged to attend.
Two training options are available, Level 1 and Level 2 – which have been designed to reflect participants’ roles and work requirements. Please read the attached flyer to determine which level(s) would meet your needs and expand your knowledge and skills in this emerging area of practice. You may have received this information previously – please note: the flyer now contains a range of session dates from April through to July.
If you are not able to attend these sessions (or have already registered for yourself) or believe this information should be directed elsewhere, please share this information within your organisation or contacts to encourage uptake across the Gippsland region for this valuable training opportunity.
Registration is via a link directly managed by the Bouverie Centre – all dates/ sessions/locations can be accessed through this link to their online training calendar (see flyer for details).
