Prostate Cancer in Primary Care Interactive Workshop

This workshop features an interactive simulation-based learning platform – simGP, providing an opportunity to experience and engage in a simulated patient consultation, and focusing on building and improving the management of patients with prostate cancer.
Guest Speaker | Dr Paul Manohar – FRACS MBBS, USANZ (full member), ICS, SIU
• Increase awareness of the importance of screening and diagnosing men’s prostate health
• Perform a risk assessment using screening tools to effectively evaluate patients in primary care
• Use diagnostic testing algorithms to improve the early detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer
• Discuss heterogeneity of urological conditions, with a focus on improving differential diagnosis, timely therapeutic intervention, and patient safety outcomes
This is a RACGP accredited activity which is allocated four Category 2 points in the QI&CPD program for the 2017- 2019 triennium.
