Gippsland Primary Health Network is hosting a second live webinar for general practice on Wednesday 25 March on novel coronavirus (COVID-19) from 6.30-8pm with the most up-to-date information available.
Monday’s first webinar had almost 90 health professionals from across Gippsland join to hear Microbiologist and Infection Prevention and Control Consultant/Educator, Margaret Jennings, present the most up-to-date information available from the Department of Health (DoH) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Topics to be addressed in the hour-long session will include what is currently known about the virus and the infection. Participants will also be reminded of practical actions that all staff should be taking, what protocols to use when dealing with a suspected COVID-19 case and what additional information you may need.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the session. For additional details about these topics, see the attached flyer.
